About us
Clean with a clean conscience.
Here at IDOCARE, we care about plenty of things.
We care about finding ways to make cleaning effective but also safe for you and your family. Which means that lots of thought goes into our ingredients. And because what we use is suitable even for babies, we have gone ahead to list the ingredients right on our bottle. You will be glad to know that they have successfully helped those with sensitive skin, as well as the sick and elderly.
We also care about looking after the Earth. For eons we have been nourished and protected by Mother Earth, yet her resources are being increasingly depleted. It is time we stop taking her for granted and do something in return for all her unselfish giving.
Most importantly, we care about listening to what you need. We have been in Singapore for 11 years, and we are keeping our prices affordable (even after the price hikes from the pandemic), so that everyone can make a difference in their lives and to the planet. In the name of helping Southeast Asia to remain clean while going green, we are constantly trying to arm with new and better products.
The Benefits of Green Cleaning

How much do you know about the products
you are using?
Many products contain ingredients that may be harmful to both the environment as well as you and your family.

NPE, also known as nonylphenol ethoxylate, is toxic and widely used as a surfactant in common household products.
Tests have shown that its ability as an endocrine disruptor mimics estrogen, affecting reproduction, causing birth defects and learning disabilities.

Commonly found in detergents, Phosphates are used to soften hard water, break down grease and remove stains.
As phosphates are nutrients for aquatic plants, when it ends up in the water system, they can cause accelerated algae growth. This depletes oxygen in the water, resulting in the death of fishes and organisms, creating unbalanced ecosystems.

Optical brighteners are chemical dyes that make fabrics appear brighter and whiter than they really are. Residuals left on clothes may cause skin irritation and allergic reactions.
Also, as they are not easily biodegradable, they remain in the water system for an indefinite period of time. It is toxic to fish, animal and plant life.

Parabens are a group of low cost chemical compounds widely used as preservatives in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals due to their anti-bacterial and fungicidal properties.
Because they mimic estrogen, research has linked parabens to instances of breast cancer, although a conclusive link has yet to be established. Studies have shown that parabans can accumulate in body tissue over time, and have also caused fertility issues in research with mice.

Plus, you’ll save money too!

Save electricity. You can get brilliant washing results even with cold water so wash your clothes at low temperatures as often as you can. Doing so could save you as much as 40% on energy costs, which translates into lower utilities.

Save water. Water is a scarce resource, and we all need to do our part in reducing waste. Always wash your clothes with a full load. A full load uses less water and detergent than 2 equivalent half loads, saving you time, water, and energy.

Keep your sponges clean. Dishwashing sponges should always be kept squeezed dry after washing up. And, always ensure that food and grease particles are not trapped within it. After every use, make sure you rinse thoroughly and squeeze dry the sponge to prevent bacteria from breeding on your sponge.

Dose correctly. By using the right amount of detergent, you save money as well as reduce water and detergent wastage. So ensure you always read the instructions of use before you use it.

Reduce water wastage. Install facets that are water efficient and have a diffuser. Doing so reduces your water usage, with very little impact to your cleaning efficiency.

Pre-soak to remove grease. Cooking oil and grease come off easier when you pre-soak your pans before washing. After cooking, allow your pan to cool, then add 3 – 5 concentrated drops of Dishwashing liquid to it. Soak and wash after your meal. You’ll use less soap and water than if you did not soak them beforehand.

The use of plastic in modern living is a necessary evil. However, reduce its impact by reusing or recycling your plastic bottles and containers. All plastic packaging from IDOCARE are made from recycled materials and are recyclable. By reducing the amount of plastic sent to landfills, you also reduce the amount of harmful chemicals that leech into the environment, and ultimately, into your food supply.

Buying concentrates make a lot of sense for your pocket, your home, and the environment. Concentrated products typically cost less than its equivalent ready mix, pack more into a smaller package so they are easier to store at home, and best of all, you’ll know that it took less energy to transport and warehouse your product.

The Zero Waste philosophy believes that products should be designed, produced, distributed and recycled with minimal impact to the environment. With the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle concept, consumers make disposal options, by reducing trash, reusing what we can and recycling waste. Zero Waste takes it one step further. With responsible design and management of a product’s complete lifecycle, it attempts to make waste levels drop to “zero”.
